With LOVE from Holland!

Where were we? Oh yes, how could we forget (tee hee) AMSTERDAM!

Friday night was our Amsterdam Burlesque FreakOut show and, like all the rest on this amazing tour, absolitely and positively EPIC. We were fortunate enough to be let into the venue several hours in advance. This gave us the opportunity to rehearse again with the Dutch Starlets on-stage and get a feel for the evening's activities.

Club 8 was gorgeous, the walls covered in hand-painted murals, secluded alcoves and red velvet curtains. We had a green room filled with drinks and veggies to snack on and to our delight, Marco showed up several times with chilled bottles of champagne and enthusiastic words of encouragement. Before we knew it was show time and the place was packed. We recall just before we went on Marco came back to tell us there was a lineup out the door!! Every number was met with enthusiastic hooting and hollering from the audience, and the lineup was diverse enough to hold everyone's attention throughout the evening. Before we knew it the set was done and we were slipping into something more comfortable for the With Love from Holland Burlesque Fashion show. The pieces were flattering and unique and made with empowered women in mind, so we were honoured to be a part of showcasing the new line of frilly things. Once the fashion show was wrapped up the after-party began! By the way - Amsterdamians sure know how to party! We were practically falling asleep on our feet but with Marco's pleading decided to dance one more song, one more song, one more... finally we realized we had about 3 hours until we had to be up and ready to catch a cab to the tram and it was time to TRY and get some sleep. Yeah right!!! You can probably guess from the rest of our tour how this went...
