Hello lovelies!!! Yes we're here! We made it safe and sound and, of course, in EPIC fashion!
So as you know we flew out of Calgary Thursday afternoon. The flight was awesome, we make a party wherever we go. :p Landed at London Gatwick at 7:30 AM local time (9 hour flight). Caught the Coach to Victoria Cross station and got familiar with the sights and sounds for an hour and a half or so... half of us caught the tube to the Hostel we're staying at, half of us caught another Coach at 1:00 PM for Manchester. As it turns out we hit some traffic en route and were delayed by about an hour. Got to Manchester, met up with Bunny (yay!!!!!!!) and walked the block or so to the venue - P.S We love you Bella!. Once there we found out we were on stage an hour earlier than expected. Well... KGB loves a challenge! On zero sleep we got ourselves ready and danced the hell out of our UK debut! What an incredibly receptive audience! Our fellow divas (Kiki Kaboom, Frisky & Mannish, to name a few) were so wonderfully warm and welcoming to us! Suffice it to say the show was a resounding success!!! You can tell from the picture (coming soon!!) we got a little 'pekkish' and, well, a wee bit wacky from the jet lag and lack of sleep. Bella was kind enough to put us up for the night but as we mentioned in our last post, sleep is overrated!
It was easy enough to ride out the 2 hours we had to kill before catching our cab with the lovely and effing hilarious Neve. Sure, we could have had a nap but why nap when you are graced with such fabulous company?! And TEA. :)
Once 5:30 am hit we caught our cab to the Coach station and took a ride back to London for our 3:00 PM show at London's Time for Tease... but more about that in our next entry. As of now, it's been 3 days and we haven't slept yet. But you wouldn't expect anything less from us, right?
