So as you know, we're in London now! We leave tomorrow for Liverpool but not before we put our stamp on this lovely city! It's official - KGB loves London, and London LOVES KGB!
Our show today was at the world-famous 'Time for Tease'. As soon as Bunny heard about this event she was intrigued, how could you not be?? We're talking high tea in proper fashion. Dress code, warmed scones with clotted cream and fresh preserves. Finger sandwiches, pastries and other delectible delights. Not least among those delights - Burlesque!!! Genious, isn't it?? We thought the venue was absolute stunning. Intimate (seating limited to about 70 people or so), elegant and truly fabulous. Our gracious hostess Zoe was so wonderful and we were absolutely delighted with such a magnificent opportunity!
The extra bonus about today's show? We were done by 6 PM! Once 'work' was out of the way (who can call that work???) we headed back to the Hostel to change out of our party dresses and get in gear for a bit of a walkabout. So where do you think KGB would go when in London? Why... Soho of course! Words simply can't describe the vibrant artistic air as we found ourselves gazing at long cobblestone streets lit up with neon and scenesters galore. It seemed every restaurant was a 'hotspot', and more than a few windows were delightfully graced with gorgeous young studs in nothign but their nickers! Do you call them nickers if they're on boys? We don't know although we expect in Soho that would be the appropriate word...
Well, KGB doesn't do anything without style and flare. We highly doubt London (and that phone booth!!!) will never be the same... Yes we had double-decker busses full of patrons giggling at our antics and it's surprisingly easy to convince complete strangers to be your temporary paparazzi! Hmm... maybe it's the sparkles?
We can't wait to connect with all our new friends, hopefully you're reading now (ahem, Neve, Hannah!). But it's been 3 days and we haven't slept (didn't we tell you sleep was overrated?!) so maybe it's time for beddie-bye. Until next time loves... cheerio!
xoxo
P.S - apparently uploading pictures is a 'security risk' of some kind here at the hostel... will post asap!
